Position: Program Coordinator

Reports to: Summer Director

Remuneration

  • The Program Coordinator position is a 6-8 week program core team position.
  • $12.50/hour, 35 hours/week + room and board

Job Summary

  • Overseeing the logistical execution of the summer camp programs.
  • Delegates Camp Life Staff

Purpose

  • Work with the Summer Director to ensure the summer programs meet all camp policies for safety, and ensure programs facilitate the development of the worth and potential of campers through experiences that are positive, fun, and challenging.
  • Be a living example of what it means to follow Christ.

Qualifications

  1. Must be a mature Christian that has demonstrated consistency and stability as she/he follows Christ.
  2. Must be willing to enter into a team ministry.
  3. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  4. Must be willing to develop the leaders around them.
  5. Must be responsible and organized, and possess excellent relational and leadership skills.
  6. Must be passionate about providing a better experience for the campers
  7. Must adhere to all camp policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  1. To draft program schedules and skill rotations.
  2. To ensure mobilization of Camp Life staff and for set up and execution of all aspects of the camp schedule including skill, games, events, tuck, etc.
  3. To ensure the program is running on schedule.
  4. Be familiar with Camp Policies, Camp Vision and Mission.
  5. Lead Camp Life staff through personal and team goal setting process. Lead the core staff to carry out their goals.
  6. Ensure the summer programs run as planned, that all policies are being followed by all on camp property, that everyone continues to fulfill their responsibilities towards the goal of serving the campers.
  7. Be an active leader to the entire Summer Staff.
